SAF Viewports units are for use in low-pressure applications (5 PSI) where 100% shutoff is not required. The Model 23 DS unit has two shutter assemblies for added protection of the glass and screen. Each shutter opens and closes when the handle is pulled. Two 1/4″ purge connections are provided for added cooling capabilities of this unit.
The operating environment and heat should be considered when ordering type of steel and glass.
